... it has been a very interesting year for my photography - with both my camera clubs ceasing face to face meetings and club outings for a while due to Covid-19.
Both clubs used Zoom to conduct meetings and competitions, but it wasn't quite the same, and I was surprised at how much I missed the face to face meetings. Although, I did enjoy sitting back with a glass of wine enjoying the judging of the competitions LOL
I am happy to say that the year has ended on a high note with the MLPC 8th Annual Exhibition 2020
My image 'Jelly Bean' has won Top Open Category and Top Image Overall ..... what a wonderful surprise for me, and such an amazing way to end the competition year!
MLPC resumed face to face meetings for a few months, within Covid-19 Guidelines of course, but the our last meeting was cancelled as we were put back in lockdown for a while. Restrictions eased, and a few of us we were able to get together for a meal to celebrate our year .... such that it was!
My other club, PACC, ceased face to face meetings in our hall in March. At the end of October, as travel restrictions were eased, we spent a few days in Robe - it was so nice to getaway and take photos. I had never been to Robe before; it had been on my 'wish list' for such a long time. PACC also had a 'social' catchup in our club-rooms on the 4th November and we are meeting up on 15th December for our end of year presentations - Covid-19 permitting ofcourse!
Thank you for visiting my blog today - I hope you have a good day.
