Winner, Winner ....

I had to withdraw my prints from last month's competition at my camera club, as I was sick with the flu and wasn't able to drop off my prints for judging.

So I decided to enter them again in the Open Category for this month.

So pleased I did!  My first 1st for the year!

Port Adelaide Camera Club had their presentation night last night and I was most shocked and surprised to find I had placed First in the Silver Aggregate section.

All scores for photos entered throughout the year are added up and divided by the number of entries - the top 3 are classified as Gold, and the next 3 are classified as Silver .......... so effectively, I was placed 4th in the whole group!  

Considering the skill level of the Gold recipients, I am most surprised and pleased with my results  ;-)
