The theme for Flickr Group Macro Mondays this week was 'Plastic'. Easy Peasy ..... so I thought LOL
Whilst rummaging around the house to find something suitable, I was also trying to think of suitable items for the camera club 'Annual Snapathon'. This club competition has been held every year since 2012 and we weren't going to let the Covid-19 lockdown get in our way! So whilst the Snapathon still went ahead, there were a few changes ...... we still had 5 'themes/keywords', however all photos had to be taken in and around our home within a 3 hour period.
Our club is interacting via our Facebook private group, and our regular monthly competitions are now held online with digital images only; our 'prints' section is on hold for the time being.
Whilst I am pretty much a home body normally, I do miss the interaction of my camera club friends and it is quite disappointing that we cannot catch up with our families for the time being - especially over Easter - but I am confident these restrictions will come to an end soon. Here in Australia, we are cautiously optimistic that we have started to 'flatten that curve' and that means, for the time being at least, that I am happy to 'stay home & stay safe' :)
Thank you for visiting my blog today - I hope you have a good day.
