52 Blooms Project - the end

Here is my last photo for my own personal 52 Blooms Project.



It has been a fun exercise - although at times a little frustrating to actually take a new photo each week - which was the actual aim of the exercise.

I am looking for a few 52 project - am thinking maybe water, reflections, clouds???  mmm still got a few days yet to make up my mind.

REVIEW: Marinade in a bag!

I recently had the opportunity to try a new marinade by McCormick as part of the Best Recipes Test Team.



I used some chicken drumsticks and only marinated for about 3 hours and it was lovely ;-)  I imagine the flavours would be more intense the longer it marinated.  The packet was easy to open and insert the chicken.  Once sealed, it was easy to massage the marinade around the pieces.  The only negative I found was that the bag could have been a bit bigger - especially if it was to hold up to 1kg of meat as suggested.

The Sticky BBQ certainly got a thumbs up from hubby and we will definitely be getting this one again.  I certainly suggest you try it when you see it in the shops.

I will keep you posted on the taste test of the Red Wine & Garlic marinade.

I won a trophy!

My very first ever trophy ;-)   you cannot wipe the smile off my face ;-)



Port Adelaide Camera Club had their presentation night last night and I was most shocked and surprised to find I had placed First in the Silver Aggregate section.

All scores for photos entered throughout the year are added up and divided by the number of entries - the top 3 are classified as Gold, and the next 3 are classified as Silver .......... so effectively, I was placed 4th in the whole group!  

Considering the skill level of the Gold recipients, I am most surprised and pleased with my results  ;-)
