October 2024 Camera Club Competition

I only had 1 competition for the month of October, for PACC.  It was the final competition for the year.

My best image was 'Kardinal Reflections' with a score of 9 out of 10, gaining a Merit in the Open Subject.

Kardinal Reflections - 9 out of 10

The subject for the October competition was 'Our Port Adelaide' with the winner of this subject receiving the Donna Hutchinson Memorial Trophy.  I love entering this subject - I spent most of my younger years in the Port Adelaide area and it is so nice to go back and visit and see the area through 'fresh eyes'.

Here are two images I did enter this year, they both scored an 8 out of 10.

Harts Mill at Night - 8 out of 10

Troubridge Ramp - 8 out of 10

time to reset and charge the batteries - the PACC resumes club meetings on 4th February 2025.

Feel free to check out their website &/or Facebook page if you like.  OR if you are thinking about joining a camera club, and don't know where to look, check out the SAPF page for a list of camera clubs in South Australia.
