RIP Karta

If you are a regular reader of my blog, then you would know I love going to the Adelaide Zoo and taking photos :)

Sadly, one of the loved animals at the Zoo has passed away - Karta, the 34 year old Sumatran Orangutan, has died just hours after delivering an infant that was believed to be stillborn.

How sad :(

Here is the last photo I took of Karta, on 3rd June 2016

Here is Kluet

Lotus Flower

FLORAL FRIDAY FOTO: 270
Lotus Flower - a very beautiful flower, with much symbolism

This flower was actually head height - I know I am not tall, but the stems on these flowers were magnificent!

This was another one that was almost head height - I didn't quite capture just how glistening the water droplets were :)
